I'm sure there are a number of errors based on replies to a related thread.  Is there plans to post updates to the book fixing them?

Yes, I'm planning to put out an updated book relatively soon. I've been waiting for all the errors to come in and then for me to get some free time to do it. The errors all seem relatively minor so far, so I'm not rushing to get a fixed version out. But it will probably be within the next few weeks or so.
