As per the advice to FAQ #14 http://smallstakesnolimitholde…..he-Book-On I emailed support to find out if the ebook would be compatible with my linux based laptop. 2 days later, no response. So, will I be able to read the ebook on my laptop which runs Ubuntu linux 9.04?
cheers,
Finn

Ed answers both questions here: http://www.notedpokerauthority…..-book.html
basically, yes. And it's even compatible with a Toilet ebook reader.

I just preordered the book yesterday, but now I have a question which is related to this topic. I plan on reading it a) on my laptop and b) on my desktop. Furthermore, I plan on reading it a.a) under windows on my laptop and a.b) under linux on my laptop. Would I need multiple licenses? (I am obv going to decide on what setup to read it then)
Does it need activation? Or is it just a plain PDF file? If so, how are you going to prevent it from being spread around?

The file will have copy protection, but we should be able to accomodate you using it on different mediums. If you have trouble, send an email to support.

No way! One price gets all media. We'll figure out how to make it work for you.

I really respect that choice. Aside from teaching, I contract for a small software developer in Columbus, OH (yes, a programming.. no geek jokes hehe). Lets just say licenses aren't always this open.
