1/2.. player in mp raises to 6.. next player in mp calls.

We each have 200 stacks.. so if i call pot will be 21 bucks divided by 200 is 10.

So should i call with only small pairs?  if i have no steal equity which i prob dont since the middle position raise usually means pretty strong hands.

Since i should have an spr of 20 when i dont have steal equity with sc's,, no gap down to two gappers.. i should fold them here unless we had stacks of $400 bucks.

Or should i call with pairs and sc's since i can call $6 bucks to possibly win $400 if they both get all in .

Can anybody please give some expert advice on this issue which i feel was never clearly explained in the books.

In Sklansky's nl book he says that after  a raise and a call play as if there was no raise which means calling a bunch of speculative hands in cutoff and button. What about calling right behind the cutoff with speculative hands?  I've heard to only call speculative hands with the right spr/ implied odds only in the cutoff and button cuz calling in the 3rd seat back is too risky due to having 4 players behind me.

No seeal equity is dreadful and probably not true.  Say MP opens with AJ. He misses the flop over half the time.

This situation is fine for calling with small pocket pairs even without steal equity.
