Small Stakes No-Limit Hold'em

Reading over this section, "The All-In 4-Bet," on page 134.

I cannot seem to understand the math included in the first two paragraphs.

-We are 4-bet shoving the villian who 3 bets our raise with 18% of his hands and only calls our shove with AA-TT,AK

I assume his 18% range is the hands included on the previous page which are

                           22+, A2s+,KTs+,QTs+

                           JTs-54s

                           ATo+, KQo+

Our hand= AQo

Ed states that if we shove with this hand that this line will yield about $5.20 in avg. equity and -$4.20 for villian.

Where does he get these estimates…it can't be the EV of a shove…I'm lost.

He also says that shoving against villian with 55 yields about $3 for us and -$2 for villian.
