SSNLH is great.  Could you please give some HUD numbers for the same opponents profile but for full ring compared to 6max.  Next question: What would be your top 10 suggestions for someone that has Wet Noodle/Nit HUD numbers for full ring to improve to a stonger player?

1,) Refuse to play out of position

2,) Don't cold call raises with trash, only call w SC-s when you can steal pots

3,) Don't limp in! Come in for a raise or fold!

4,) Play very tightly against tight players raises!

5,) Fold to tight 3-bets and don't play fit or fold post flop.

6,) Challenge every pot you enter, try to win it, if you find this hard the chances are that you should not enter the pot pre-flop.

7,) Steal the blinds!

Sticky material right there.  Nice post, Rocket Cool

#2 is something I've been working on a lot lately.  When wanting to cold-call in CO or BN, I've been asking myself if I won't be able to steal post-flop, then will I be able to call a c-bet or bet myself for value on most flops.  If my answer is NO, then I need to muck right now.

Cold-calling raises can be correct, but it can also, more often than not, be a mistake.

 Thank You!

You are on the right track but also consider how a 3-bet would work. Say the CO who plays 30% of his hands in this position opens you are on the BTN and the blinds are nits. Here you can 3-bet a lot of hands if he tightens up to a 3-bet and you can also 3-bet a lot if he calls with pocket pairs and than plays fit or fold.

Cold-calling raises can be correct, but it can also, more often than not, be a mistake.

Lately I found a player who plays loose pre flop but very weakly after the flop. The guy opend for 3BB on the BTN with about a 30% range and always checked the flop and folded to a turn bet if he didn't flop TPTK or better and the BB was a nit, so I called him pre-flop with every sort of trash and bet the turn when he checked behind on the flop. Cold-calling sometimes can be superior compared to folding or 3-betting but use it cautiously and know what you are doing.

Thanks.  I agree with you on both of these points.  I am 3-betting; and learning where those 3-bet spots are can be so beneficial.  "Can I 3-bet?" is the first thing I ask myself if I'm thinking of entering a raised pot.  If I don't think I can 3-bet against his range or out-play him after a 3-bet or if I think I'll get called/4-bet from behind, then I'm asking if I can steal or cold-call.  The more I play, the more of these spots I see.

As to your second point, I've exploited some players with this tendency as well.  I've also seen a couple players that will call 3-bets extremely lightly, then play fit or fold.  Disaster for them, but great for me Cool
