Greetings, guys, and thanks for your efforts…  I have a question regarding starting hands…

I am comfortable with playing all of the "Not Trash" hands…and I think you are saying that the "Sometimes Trash" hands can be played in middle or late position. 

When it comes to the "Really Trash" hands, I am not quite sure what you mean there….should they NEVER be played??  Or, can they be used as steal hands?

I guess what I am looking for is some guidance as to when all of these hands should be played and from what positions.  Since I am a newbie to SSNL, I must confess that I am still playing "make a hand" poker…..and I am trying to move beyond that….but I still need a little guidance as far as hand selection is concerned.

Thanks again for your work on a great book!

Trash hands would be almost entirely stealing hands.  You play them when your cards do not matter, which is uncommon.  For example, against a tight big blind you might play nearly all hands from the small blind.
