A hand i played tonight on betraiser.com.. i play there cuz they don't take rake but rather only 10% at cashout.

Anyways i 95 bucks and so did my opponent.  1/2.  He raises to 4 bucks.  Since 77 is worth more than 95 small blinds i  know that mathmatically he cannot come up with a good hand enough to beat my 77 or any hand that has a higher sklansky chukbov number right?

So i shoved and he was on tilt and called with king ten off and i won.  But this play is not exploitable since he cannot come up with a hand often enough for 95 small blinds to beat hands that dont play extremely well on the flop so thus i shoved.  If i had qq,kk,qq, aq or ak i would have just 3 bet standard.

Also i do this play alot in tournaments when in bb vs sb raise.  If sb raises me and i have a hand that is worth more than sk-ch number i usually shove unless of course i know sb only raises like very tight hands.

What u all think about this strategy.  Seems pretty unexploitable to me since the raiser mathematically cannot have a hand often enought to make a profit from my shoves.

Sklansky-Chubakov numbers only apply when no one has voluntarily
entered the pot.  Once someone has entered the pot, their range is not
random, so the numbers do not apply.
