Using your ~ 40% CO open recommendation against two tight blinds, I stoved a 40% range that came out slightly different than yours. In mine, I excluded hands K7s-K2s and Q7s that were on the book’s list, and in their place I added hands like J7s, 85s, 74s, 63s, 53s, 43s, and K8o and 98o.

Did you just use a default stove range for these recommendations or do you favor opening those hands (K7s-K2s, Q7s) rather than the weaker suited gapped connectors (J7s, 85s, 74s, 63s, 53s, 43s) and mediumish-weak offsuit stuff (K8o and 98o)?

Maybe I'm wrong (realistically, this should be "Most likely I'm wrong"), but I prefer the high card value when stealing.  If I raise 85s on the button and get called, I'm turning my hand into a bluff most of the time if I fire at the flop.  I have very little showdown value unless I flop something like two pair or a solid draw, where a Kx suited hand has some high card value as well as potential for top pair type hands.  But what do I know?  :-)

Totaly depends on whose in the blinds , stealing with something of high card value works better against a fish , where as stealing with 85s type hand is bettter against a good TAG like villian

1. your hand is deceptive,  will get paid off when we flop good against the TAG

2. good tag wont pay you off with TP as much as a fish might

3. Fish are more passive , can win at showdown with our TP more often

4. Fk it just steal steal steal ! :)

Yah the range you use is malleable.  I don't like small kings myself, but since the equity comes from stealing primarily it is not that big a decision.
