Hey Ed, Matt and Sunny.
Can we use this forum for studygroups?
And could you (maybe) come up with a study plan? or even better, more study plans. Like the studyplan for people who only have 1 hour a day and a study plan for people who can study 3 or more hours each day.
Thanks

Hi GeleHaas,
Absolutely!
That's what this forum is for – i.e. for you to discuss the book with other readers as well as the authors. A study group is a great idea. Once the book is released and some people have started reading it, a proper game plan can be made.

Yeah, I am in too… would love to get involved with a good study group on this book; especially if headed up by one of the authors.

And it's a fantastic perk…
Here's hoping authors of all types will start doing the same for discussion of their books.
As far as a structured study group goes, I really hope that it can be done in a way that will really allow future readers to use the study group as a learning aide simultaneously to reading the book.
How to do this? As a start, maybe each chapter or section could have it's own thread within the study group thread. That way, anyone in the future will find it easy to follow along with (and add to) the prior group discussion while reading any part of the book.

I have a feeling quite a few members of the studygroup are going to want to record sessions for peer review. For those who don't want to purchase CamTasia, I'd recommend looking into a free open-source alternative called CamStudio (located on SourceForge)
