How to make a good Table selection choice?

I'm currently playing 10c/5c 6-person game. Poker Tracker stats don't display till you're at a table and have played a few hands. Table stats in the poker site lobby gives an average of players seeing flops, and average pot size.

At Ultimate the Flop % runs in the 25% – 30% – 35% – 40%+ ranges, with an average pot size of $0.75 to $1.50 to $3.00+. Using only these stats (till I can get a HUD display of specific player numbers) what is a good Flop and Pot average combination to sit down at, and why?

I haven't started tracking specific players to look up and try to play against. What player types and Poker Tracker stat numbers are worthy of noting to look them up, or know to stay away from?

Sort the available games in the lobby by average % of players seeing flops – Avg. pot size is secondary. The games with the highest % of players seeing flops should be where you want to be, unless you see a known fish sitting at a particular table.

Ideally, you'd like to see a table combo of +30% to flop avg. + one of the higher avg. pot sizes.

(btw, anything 35-40% or better is very loose and very liikely JUICY).

I'll agree with what was said above… I look for tables with a high number of players seeing the flop and have a decent pot size. Another thing that I always take into consideration is what my position is to the big stack at the table. I'll search around for a bit looking for a table that meets the above requirements and where the big stack is to my immediate right. Sometimes it doesn't happen but if you're patient enough you'll find some good tables.

Also, once I have a fiar number of hands with a certain player on FT, I'll use their different colors for player notes. I've got a different color for each general style.

All the losers go home complaining about the terrible play of the winners.

Agreed, 30% is the flop avg. I look for in full ring.  Keep in mind OP plays 6 max, you need to adjust that up.   30% in a full ring 9 handed table = 2.7 players on average seeing a flop (most flops are taken 3 handed or HU on average).  30% on a 6 max table = 1.8 players on average (most flops are HU or the blinds are stolen).  For 6 max I look for 35% min, and finding over 40% should not be hard until you get up above $2-$4.
