To achieve this profile (and I know the goal is not to alter our playing style to fit stats), I find it very hard to see how you *generally* do that.

Again, I realize that we should just play according to our experience, game conditions, etc. I currently play probably a 20/16 ("Solid TAG") at NL50. I find that I often will start sessions (and consciously) lean on the LAG-y side. But I stats invariably will melt down to the aforementioned… which I know, is fine.

What I'm saying is that I'm looking for spots where I can be more aggressive preflop (i.e. 3B in POS, 3B a Steal, liberal Stealing… I think these are the main areas where one can increase their VPIP/PFR), but it just doesn't work out.

I will say that I do not really Squeeze at all. I will 3B (Squeeze, though I don't think it's technically a Squeeze) for value in Squeeze situations, and it's not like I never Squeeze in the true sense (i.e. bluff). But I certainly don't do it willy-nilly. Is this where I'm missing a lot of situations to get involved preflop?

(As said, I'm 20/16 or so, 3B 7%, 4B 3%, Sq I'm sure it's low).

IMHO the stats of the Thinking LAG will be reached when you start opening your Button and CO-Range like told in the book. If you open according to the book, there will be a significant change in your stats.

I think 3betting and sqeezing more just changes your VPIP/PFR-Stats in a minor way.

I went down a level and I'm finding a lot looser players at that level.  They are loose enough to make stealing with any two cards not profitable on almost all tables and so I am "only" stealing at around 30% while at higher levels I'm stealing around 50-75%.

I am pretty amazed how differently I will now play depending on the table conditions.  It is really interesting and I'm actually worried about using stats on opponents if they change their game as significantly as I am based on table conditions.

heh, I need a PT filter "Stats when NITS are in the hand" "Stats when Wet noodles are in the hand".  Actually it may be interesting to see the results of this because it will tell you something about the player (they change their game against various opponents or not).

I can get this read on players if I play 2-3 tables but if I play 4-6 tables I completely rely on PT HUD.

Multitabling?  When I try the style from the book, I can not play more than 1 table, even now it has been months since reading it for the first time.
