I had just read the section on under-betting in multiway pots, probably would not have bet here otherwise.  Worked pretty good.

Seat 4: SB ($14.15 in chips)

Seat 5: BB ($0.90 in chips)

Seat 6: Hero/UTG ($14.20 in chips)

Cool!

Ya, if you pick good spots these bets are very seriously profitable because they only have to work 25% of the time or so to make money and sometimes they work at least 50%.

If someone opens from early/mid-ish and then say two people call and I call out of the blind, I like to make 1/3 pot bets on some board types into the preflop raiser with a wide range of hands. It puts the raiser in a tough spot and then often you just have to get past some hands that are favorites to be pretty weak (even if they call your first bet called).

I'd just like to add that the sections on underbetting multiway and overbetting the flop were my favorite sections in the book. Both advocate ideas that I probably would not have tried on my own, and I am really eager to find spots to apply them in actual play. Thanks guys!
