Here is a hand I played yesterday. My opponent is an unknown probably not a regular b/c I never saw him before he just sit down. I always have problems in situations like this when I have a medicore hand facing big bets. I go on and on how could I call a bet like this with a weak hand but I can't come up with any solution. Do you have any "good to know" ideas about situations like this? BTW your book is beyond every word I know in english. Very nice job guys, keep up the hard work.

CO ($76.85)
Button ($45.45)
Hero (SB) ($65.40)
BB ($111.45)
UTG ($11.25)
MP ($49.25)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Jc, Jd
UTG calls $0.50, 1 fold, CO bets $1, 1 fold, Hero raises to $3, 1 fold, UTG calls $2.50, CO calls $2

Flop: ($9.50) 4d, 9h, 10h (3 players)
Hero bets $6, 1 fold, CO calls $6

Turn: ($21.50) 5c (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $10.75, Hero calls $10.75

River: ($43) 4h (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $35, Hero calls $35

Total pot: $113 | Rake: $3

I think I would barrel the turn versus an unknown. b/f c/c c/c is a good line if you think he is capable of floating here, but since you don't have any reads I think I would just bet bet bet instead. They don't have to be large bets either (something like 2/3 flop 2/3 turn 1/2 or less on river). As played though I think I call the turn and fold the river. I've been a bit of a 'pay off wizard' in spots like these in the past, but when he bets that big on the river I think our hand is essentially a bluff catcher at that point, and I don't think he is bluffing enough to make that a call.
