What did the book most make you aware of about your own game? For me, I'm not following through with what I know to be true because it takes me out of my comfort zone. For example, I know the correct play is to shove 1.5x pot based on the range of hands I put my opponent on. Yet, I then start feeling how uncomfortable I'll be if I'm called.
As I've recently moved on in stakes, not polarizing my river range is becoming more and more important. The players aren't total droolers and you have to grab small edges when you can. Mentally, I get it.. emotionally, still working through it. The book has not only helped me plug leaks, but question why I'm doing what I'm doing.
How about you?

I think one of my greatest leaks is missing value betting spots on the river. Far too often when the authors mention "… in this situation many players check behind, which is a big mistake …" I feel them looking directly in my eyes.

I let my ego get in the way. Thinking my opponents are trying to outlevel me usually is just me fighting a battle with myself. Completely futile.

Break even play, donking off buy-ins by getting into leveling wars that only i'm participating in, making plays without thinking/knowing why I am doing them.
I have a long way to go!
Which reminds me, would anyone be interesting in doing some sweat sessions? I think it'd be good if we did some sweats once the book club starts up where we can try to focus on the chapter at hand (I have Camtasia and am fairly adept at screen recording/post-processing, so I can post the vid once it's done if we do end up doing this!), but I think it'd be cool in general to do a few sweat sessions/hand reviews.
Any interest?
