i am reading page 53,talking about stats af. i have delete af from my hud several months ago, using afq.i am so glad to see the same point of af useless on this book.it is really a practical book!

do we have a plan to have a study group, using msn group or skype something?our readers can easily talk about this book and game with each other, with three authors of course.

Great idea.

From what I've read so far (60 pages) the structure of this book would lend itself well to what we called a "book cycle" in grad school.  Basically it's a small group attacking a chapter every week or whatever.  The advantage is that if one member is shaky about a given concept in the chapter, it's likely that another member is is as well.  The other side of the equation is that there's a strong probability that at least one group member will "get" the concept that's confusing the others.

Fascilitation by one of the authors would be great.

Tagger expect the study group to commence in about a month or so. The group will likely  be here in the forum with a thread dedicated to each chapter.Cool

Awesome. If anyone wants to start an unofficial study in the meantime, I'm all for it. We could post a series of hands from a chapter and discuss benefits/disadvantages of certain lines. We could break down part of a chapter.. I'm up for anything.

Hi, I'd like to join and study the book together.

I think it's a good idea going with a chapter per week and posting the results

I'm willin to start

Cool!  Where?

I may be the slow kid on the playground, but I don't know who anyone is by their screennames.  Could I ask - if you are on the publishing/authorship/management side of things, please let us (me) know.

Re my book cycle idea, I've set up several of these so if I can be of assistance, give me a shout.

I'm just a lowly grinder trying to contribute what I can:) The titles are Exercise1: and Exercise2: (and another member added Exercise3)… simply looking at a series of stats and trying to exploit the players tendencies.
